Cleared for Surgery!

     

    It has felt a lot like I am trying to bend like this to try and fit everything I need to do in.  But, today I had my Primary Doctor appointment to clear me for surgery.  My doctor is the same doctor that I have had since I was little.  It is nice to have a history with a doctor who truly understands what I am going through.  This is the best part of going to a Family practice.  

    My doctor cleared me for surgery! So that is wonderful news. I also was able to do all of my labs except one for the surgery.  Having my labs done and knowing that they are all clear, means that I can move on to the next thing on my to-do list. I only need one more next week that has to be done at Rush.   

    I have two more days of work. It has been a whirlwind trying to prep for the rest of the year during my leave.  I am incredibly lucky to work with amazing people who are doing so much to help out while I am gone.  They are going above and beyond and doing it out of the kindness of their hearts.  I am trying to do as much as I can to make their lives easier while I am gone.  But I know that I am making their lives much harder for the next 8 weeks.  

    Next week is Spring Break for the girls and me.  We plan to have a great week, doing lots of fun things.  I am hoping to take them on a few adventures.  This way we are all distracted and all still have a wonderful week off.  I will be sure to give a run down at the end of the week on some of the fun we had.  

    On Friday of next week, we will find out the surgery time.  Last time it was early in the morning so I am for sure hoping that is the case again.  But we won't know for sure until then.
